Private area to share files

  • Hello everyone,
    I need to develope a private area in a website where users can exchage files.

    In schematic details:
    I need two user roles, A (publishers) and B (readers).
    “A” users should be able to login through a form in a specific page. After login they should be able to upload a file and some text to describe that file. They should also be allowed to edit/delete the files they uploaded.
    All uploaded files and their descriptions would be listed in a private area accessible by both users A and B, where the “B” users would only be able to read and download those files.

    Well, which plugin or plugins would you recommend to achieve this scenario?
