  • That might actually be a WordPress function rather than a plugin feature.

Thanks for helping me out Clayton.

1stchoicegrafix, This plugin is for Private Content and not for password protected content. The above reference link should solve your problem.

Basically a password protected post requires a password to view that post, but still the page remains public with a password form hiding the content .Only an Administrator, Editor, or the post’s Author can set a post’s password and share it.So only a few people who know the password can read it.

Private post means your post is visible only to your site’s users with the role of Administrator or Editor. You can extend that functionality to allow users with the role of Subscriber to read private content with my Mini Membership Plugin.

Private Content Login Redirect” redirects non-logged users to login page when they follow a private post or private page link.

Combination of “Mini Membership + Private Content Login Redirect” gives you a membership based site.Ask people to register as subscriber for free to get access to your best private content.

I tried to add in the code from above to allow me to change the text and have now crashed my site. Can you please help me correct my error? I removed the code I added and hit save only yo get this message:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/content/89/8458989/html/wp-content/themes/presswork/functions.php on line 1091

I do not know how to find line #1091 to correct my error. Any help would be greatly appreciated
