Private entries: Why are they publicly available via RSS?

  • Scenario: Create a new, private blog entry. As expected, this new entry is only shown to users that are logged in. Review the RSS link for the site, and sure enough, your private entry is available for all to see (at least the first 100 characters).

    Why, I ask you the WordPress Community. Why hasn’t this problem been addressed?

    What is the point of having private entries if they are clearly displayed in the RSS feed?
