    Is there a hack to allow a user to make their event private on the Event Submission form on the Front End? I do not allow users to login to the Back End.

    Also, is there a way to make a user’s private event visible (only) to the user that created the event? From what I can see, under “User Capabilities” under “settings”, there is an option to allow a user to “read_private_events”. However, this setting allows a user to see (all) private events. I want the user to be able to see only (their own) private events, not “all” private events.

    you could do this but you′d have to code this yourself.

    to hook into the right place, you’d use the em_event_save filter and then do your checks there. reference, classes/em-event.php
