    Hi

I am using buddyboss theme and plugin and yoast SEO.
In the buddyboss, there is a content type called ‘forum’ and ‘discussion’ that comes from buddyboss and I included these to be part of SEO crawl.

However I realized that there are some forums and discussions running privately and some are public. when it’s in private mode, no index is generated.

so from the google web master, it throws an error that there is no index for those private forums and dissucsions whereas the public ones are running fine which it should continue.

    My question is
Is there a way to filter those private ones from being part of SEO?
or way for yoast to insist to take the index to push to SEO
or any other recommendation to address this error from google web master?

Please kindly educate me on this with your expertise.

    Thank you

    Hi @futureyoon

If a private forum or discussion is set to ‘noindex’, it shouldn’t really be a cause of concern as Google Search Console is merely reporting this. If it’s intended not to be indexed and is expected behavior, then that’s just fine.

Unless there are any other errors being reported from Google Search Console about some URLs on your website that you would want to appear in the search results but is being flagged as having a ‘noindex’ tag or some other issue? If you could provide some sample URLs and some specific details (perhaps a screenshot), this would be helpful.
