Private gallery is visible to people without access

  • Hello!
    I’ve encountered a little issue where people who aren’t supposed to have access to a private gallery can still see the thumbnail on the client galleries page.

    Are you able to advise if this is a known issue, or how I might be able to resolve. This is a really important feature for my client.

    I can provide a login if needed, as the site is still in development.

  • If you are logged in as an admin you will see all Private galleries. Confirm you are not logged in and seeing the gallery thumbnail.

    Hi there, I was logging in as a test user who only has subscriber access to the site.

    The test user ‘John’ has been allowed to see one gallery only, as shown in the gallery title. However, when I log in as John, I can see both.

    If I am logged out, no galleries are visible, which is excellent. Just need to be able to hide the galleries from people who aren’t listed in the privacy settings.

    I cannot reproduce this problem on any test sites, Private galleries seem to be working as expected when I try it. I would need access to your site in order to look into what is going on.
