Private ID changing

    Hi there,

    I love this plugin – it has solved so many problems for me.

    When using it, I have the feeling that the Private ID can change of its own accord, i.e. I use it one day, and then go to use it again and it doesn’t work. When I check the record, it has changed.

    1) Is this the case?
    2) Can I stop it doing so?

    Normally, this does not change.

    If you are using the Participant Login add-on, it has a setting that, when enabled, changes the private ID after it is used.

    If it’s not that, then base plugin does not change private IDs (that would defeat the purpose!) but it is possible to set up custom code that will do something like that.

    Thank you for such a swift response – it makes a huge difference.

    Your hunch was correct. I have the Login addon and I have now disabled the “change after use” option.
