• Hi,
I use UAM to protect private pages for logged in users.
Corresponding menu entries were previously hidden for public users.
However, recently there was a change in coding: now private pages are shown in the menu also for public users (on the referenced page almost all entries under menu item Galerien are private). Fortunatelly public users are still not authorized for these private pages.
As far as I see, private menu entries are shown if there is a mixture of public and private entries under one main menu item.
If all entries under one main menu item are private, than this main menu item is still not shown for public users.
    Any hope for correction?
    Best regards
    Harald

Not sure if this answers your question.

    Two things to look for.

On the “Other settings” page, if “Lock Recursive” is set to No, then you can control both the parent page and the child page individually – which extends to the menu.

To give you more control over pages and posts visibility, when on the Post Type tab in the settings, go to the drop-down that says default and bring up the Posts and Pages individually rather than have the default control it.

So you might have the Pages setting set at No (Use default) and then Yes (hide complete post)
