Private post not shown to admin

  • hi,

    I have weird problem. I have set some post to ‘private’ and I understood i should see those post by admin? Actually in front page ‘categories’ are missing where ‘private’ post are. (all post set to private under missing category) is there any way to see also categories in front page if all post under it are set to ‘private’ ? Tnx

    I’m having the same problem as described by Kulovesi.
    All my ‘private’ posts are no longer viewable on the front page(either by the Author, or the Admin.)

    When attempted to “View” in the “Post Management” section, it gives the following error message:

    You seem to have found a mis-linked page or search query with no associated results. Please trying your search again. If you feel that you should be staring at something a little more concrete, feel free to email the author of this site or browse the archives.

    Solution anyone? =)

    I have a problem where the admin can view private posts, but not private pages.

    Anyone ran into this?

    Edit: I’m using WordPress 2.6.1

    I have all of that,
    when select private the pages and the categories doesn’t show even if i’m as an admin or any user logged in.
    Tested in WordPress 2.2 and 2.6
