    Hi,

After updating the post visibility to private on edit, they become vanished on DocsPress lists. Looks like only public posts are listed.

But, we are creating the posts only for logged-in users. If possible, please add features for post status control on settings.

  • Isn’t this WordPress’ default functionality? “Private: Only visible to site admins and editors” is what’s shown when you change the post visibility.

If you want logged in users (subscriber by default) to view private docs, use a role editor plugin and enable the read_private_docs capability for that role. Do that for any other role that you want as well.

    Hi Tecca,

I think I was not clear on ‘Docspress Lists’, what I mentioned is, on admin page docspress, your customized admin docspress list, which only shows published posts but not private posts, I have to use only classic UI mode.

I saw the code, in get_posts only published items are retrieved. So, even admin can’t view after updating the status in wp-admin docspress
