Private site getting cached

    Dear all,

    I activated “Private site” but the site, once I authenticated, is getting cached and thus circumventing the forced login. The caching happens across browsers and incognito / private mode.

    Checking the documentation I could not find any information pointing towards the mechanism, i.e. cookie based, to debug the issue. Ultimately my goal is to put a CloudFront in front of the private website (using it not just for assets).

    Would appreciate if anyone could provide me some hints to improve the experience.

    Hi Mike,

    Members stores private site setting in Members options in the database and checks it on every page load. If you are having any issues with this tool, you need to reach out to the cache plugin author and see if they can troubleshoot this.
