Pro Icon Sets not Showing

  • I am having a strange issue where I am running a website with ACF Pro, WMPL, and this Advanced Custom Fields: Font Awesome plugin. For a created options page, I am seeing the brands icon set for the English and French versions of this page, yet on the Spanish version of this options page I am only seeing the Regular icon set. Almost like it is making the right Pro call for just 2 out of 3 of the languages within the system.

    Any thoughts on this? Why the ACF FontAwesome field would work in an options page for 2 out of 3 of the languages that are installed on a site?

    Hey sorry I missed this thread earlier. I haven’t seen that issue before, definitely an odd one. Are you using WPML to translate the ACF field groups themselves?

    Also it looks like this is probably using FontAwesome 5.x icons is that right? I’ll see if I can get a test going locally to reproduce what you are seeing.

    Yes that is correct, I am using FontAwesome 5.x icon set with pro enabled as we do have the pro css from our account. It appears to be working for 2 of the languages and also Post Types in all three languages. But on this options page it is only allowing 2 out of 3 of the languages to see all of the icon sets available and in the 3rd only the one regular icon set.

    So far I haven’t been able to reproduce what you are seeing. I created a repeater like yours with a FontAwesome icon and a URL field. And I added it to an options page on a site I have that uses WPML with 9 languages. And I enabled 5.x icons w/ the Pro CDN.

    All 9 languages work as expected, so it doesn’t seem to be simply a combination WPML and those various settings causing a reproducible bug.

    I wonder if you could try recreating this field group from scratch to see if the problem remains or not?
