    Looking at the Connections Pro Pack Bundle for our district website. We are looking to give it a try, with possibility of adding to our other sites at a later date.

    If we purchase the Pro Pack for a single site, is there an option to upgrade / pro-rate to the 1-5 Site or Unlimited Plans? Is this a perpetual license, or annual renewal?

    Pre-sale questions for the commercial addons should be sent using the contact link at the bottom of the following page as they are not permitted on the wp.org support forums.

    But to answer your questions, yes, there is an upgrade path to the multisite and unlimited options. The addons are not subscriptions, and annual renewal is optional. If you choose not to renew, access to support/updates will end, but the addons will continue to function unless changes to WordPress or Connections require an addon to be updated (Connections breaking compatibility is very rare, and a lot of work is put in to ensure backward compatibility for as long as possible).
