    I’m not sure I understand the process flow for proration in RCP. If a membership downgrade is initiated, what happens to the balance on the account? Is a refund automatically triggered in the payment gateway or does RCP ‘hold’ the balance and start applying it to the new charges on the account as they come up till the balance is used up? How does RCP manage account balances and recurring charges?

    Hi Ryan,

    First of all, I’m sorry it took a bit to track this down for you!

    The good news is, the difference is automatically refunded to their payment method via the payment gateway they used, so you don’t have to worry about keeping track of it, account credits, etc.
