‘Pro’ version licensing issues

Initially I left a one star review for this theme due to the licensing mechanism for the ‘pro’ version being broken. I have had conversations with the developers and while I do now have a functioning ‘pro’ version of the theme, I can not in good faith give it five stars.

I enjoy the theme a lot. Enough so that I paid for it. I think it’s a very good looking and functional theme, but the fact of the matter remains that upon surrender of my money I was given a non-functional product. And it was nonfunctional in a way that provided no feedback to the nature of the failure. There was no error dialog, no error message, no output in the logs – just silence. I had to dig through the source code in order to get the product to ‘activate’.
