Thanks for your post. I think you have free version too in your server. Please delete your 2 versions and then install new one, It must work.

Hello, since my problem is similar – I decided to post here. I downloaded the free version, then I did as you said after I bought the paid version I deleted the free and installed the paid. I still get the same fatal error only when I try to activate.

I was looking online and saw a post on another site that stated that maybe my version of php is too old. I’m told that the error above might be do to that verion of php not recognizing ‘anonymous functions?’ Any ideas to get me up and running with this plugin?

If I have to I will change hosts. I don’t know how to tell which version of php I’m using or what this plugin requires.
