• I have tried it in 3 websites with joomla 1.5, and it only work with small websites.
I have one website with 2.300 articles, and I only have a blank screen, no error message, nothing.
I have another website with 1800 articles, and I got the same problem.

So, I can say, this is not for big websites, only for small ones.
I think I lost my money.

The plugin has been tested with sites containing over than 100000 articles. It can take long to import but it works.
The only limit is the memory of your server.
If the import process stops, you should increase the memory_limit value (see the FAQ).
When you run again the import process, it resumes where it left off.

I have also watched your screenshots. You should not check the options:
    – Import external media
    – Force media import

    Hi.

I have tested it with all options checked, and with a few, the result is the same.
Have you tested it with the new version for wordpress?

The plugin is tested with each new version of WordPress.
I have found the cause of your problem. It comes from the huge number of users (648 000) in your database.
I have done some improvements on the plugin (v2.2.0) to import such a big number of users. It should work now with your database.

    Hi Samuel,
I just used it to import 5000 Joomla articles and it was successful.

    Couple things though…

    1. I was on a beefy VPS.
    2. Sometimes I’d get a 500 Internal Server error – but the job would eventually complete (took about 15-20 minutes).

Hope you were able to resolve it.

    Best,
    Craig
