Pro Version Question

    One of my clients envisions an area on her website being populated based on social media posts that use a specific hashtag. She’s mostly looking for Facebook videos. She’s hoping she could pick and choose what shows in the area, basically being able to moderate what Facebook videos display. The Facebook Search for videos would be by hashtag.

    Would your pro version of the plugin be able to handle her requests ?

    Thank you for reaching out with your inquiry. Unfortunately due to forum restrictions we don’t like to discuss particulars about a Pro version of our plugins because this forum is for the Free plugin versions available through www.ads-software.com.

    However, I can answer you question for you as the correct answer does actually apply to both the Free and Pro versions. Neither version of our plugin would not be able to do what your client wants because Facebook does not allow an API request for data as a Facebook Search across all Facebook accounts and therefore no data would be returned. Rather, you would have to request data from specific Facebook accounts and then sort through that data after it has been retrieved from Facebook using a filter technique which is applied only to the data from the accounts the data was received from and not a general “across the board Facebook search”.
