• We needed to put a 100 question survey together and there aren’t that many plugins out there that can do – as far as what I found.
Because we wanted it paged we bought the pro version.
It does get a bit slow in the backend at that volume of questions and we needed to adapt the way we created it a bit to make it efficient…and it took as a bit to figure out the styling, but the licensing alone makes it a winner over Gravity Forms.
Pay once, get lifetime upgrades and a year worth of support.
While I prefer full lifetime licenses, this allows me to have the plugin on my sites and sleep well knowing that security issues will be patched and WordPress updates shouldn’t break my sites without having to pay again for updates.
Support can take a lot of time (for popular and versatile plugins probably more than actually writing it) and by having to pay again after a year I think the chances of the plugin keep being developed are higher.
I like free plugins as much as the next person – and this one has many useful features in the free version already – but I can see that there is a limit on how much support can be expected depending on how much one pays.
I just hope that real bug reports are excluded from the one year, and if not that there are other currently paying customers finding the same ??
