Trying to add the yelp pro widget onto our website but it doesn’t seem to show up. i am currently using the widget pro but i would like to see live reviews on my site, does it have to be the premium? please confirm which version should i use to display reviews on my site.

or does the pro version do the same? and is there a reason why it is not appearing on our site. i have managed all the steps and somehow it is not working so far.

    suggestions?

    HI there,

Yes the Premium/Paid version allows you to display up to 3 reviews on your site live. Also keep in mind that with the FREE version you’re required to create your own Yelp API keys and enter them into the settings. The PREMIUM version comes with our own extended API Key pre-configured.

    Thanks!

    HI Matt,

thank you for responding… i applied for the API keys and so i entered that for the free version when i obtained them but for some reason they are not showing up..

However, it is clear now that i have to have the premium paid version to show the display of reviews on my site live. and you say that the premium version comes with our own extended API when i buy it?

    Thank you

Yes, you won’t need your API keys at all. Thanks!

Hey Matt. question for you.. i bought the Premium but my widget does not register it as premium.. it keeps saying “upgrade to premium” and i still have the same options displaying as the old one.. and it doesnt seem to change to the new one.. can you inform me what i am doing wrong.

The Premium Plugin is a seperate plugin from the free one. You have to delete the free one and install the Premium one. Your settings and widgets will NOT be lost. You can review that in our FAQ here:

    Thanks!

i already disabled and deleted the pro (Free version) but the only available widget is the same name..

Yes, they do have the same name. That’s important so that when you upgrade that you don’t lose your widget settings.

If you’ve downloaded the PRemium plugin from our website and installed it, then go to “Settings > Yelp Widget pro” and in the upper right side of the screen you should see a little badge that says “Premium Version”.

    Let me know.
