I am using plugin version 0.8.3 on my android site and happy with its ease of use.
although there is clear instruction to not to include spaces/capitals for names, but when we add a custom posttype or taxonomy name with space or hyphen, it creates successfully. and also works fine (one can publish posts and spaces or hyphens appears in urls as is). but when we try to paste code (from Get Code feature of the plugin) to functions.php, it becomes clear that the plugin appends its name in function’s name. so if posttype name is ‘abc def’, plugin creates the function “cptui_register_my_cpt_abc def” or “cptui_register_my_taxes_abc def”. same case is with hyphens. if one pastes this code in functions.php then entire site goes down.
IMO (of course if it isn’t knowingly ignored) spaces/hyphens/caps should not be accepted in names. either they should be checked in html form processing when saving changes or should be converted to acceptable characters by php.

I believe this is something I take care of in what will be the 0.9 release, but that’s not ready yet for public release.

So definitely a known issue, and hopefully covered in the future.

Thanks. I can see this resolved in 0.8.4

Ahhh. Yes, I think I misinterpreted the original issue, and since then, someone else reported the same thing and provided a fix that got released. So that’s why it got into 0.8.4 ??
