Probably simple; Homepage Question

Hello World:

Am kind of new to blogging and wordpress, but I did manage to get a blog configured for my CPA Exam studies. Except for one little problem – I dont want my homepage to be dynamic.

Is there a way to just create static content for the front page without having it update?

Here’s the way I want it to be.

Here’s the current way it actually is:

https://exam.marketproductions.com/
(It shows up as empty here because there are no posts in the DB yet.)

Anyway, please let me know if there is a way to force a page to be a homepage, and/or to force static content onto a page.
