Problem accessing my site url from different networks

I have installed my new wp site under https://mycurrentworkplacedomain.net/newwebsite.

When I use my work network to access the new website, it does not work. I can only access https://mycurrentworkplacedomain.net. However, the new website https://mycurrentworkplacedomain.net/newwebsite is accessible outside my work network or when am browsing from home.

I am having 2 incidences of this problem with 2 different clients.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
