Problem activating plugins after WP upgrade

When you Network Activate a plugin, it removes that plugin from the per site Plugins menu. It is intended behavior and not all plugins are designed to be network activated.

Ohhh I see what you mean. All of the plugins’ functionalities seem to exist, just they disappear from the Plugins menu.

Is this a new thing then? I’m sure this wasn’t the case before I upgraded.

What if I wanted to disable a plugin for a particular site? Is this possible?

If you network activate a plugin, then no – you cannot disable it on a single site. that part’s been in place since the “network active” was brought in.
