• I’m using the free version on wordpress 3.7.1

I’ve noticed that unless I enter a description for a category or subcategory the page refreshes and I loose all the data I’ve typed in without a warning, it would be good to get a warning about required fields to save having to retype the information. Also currently I can’t seem to add a product or catalog, despite putting an entry into all fields the page seems to refresh but no records are added.

Am I missing something or is this a bug?

Can I also ask does the paid version allow you to create additional attribute fields for products e.g. size, color etc.

    Thanks

    Hi Lambertini,

Is anything at all saving? It shouldn’t require a description in any field, so it sounds like it might be a database issue. Let me know and we can go from there.

The “Custom Fields” functionality should do exactly what you’re looking for. You can create fields that can be filled out for each product, and then then can be added into the description area so that each product follows the same template.
