Problem adding new users

  • Just installed the latest version (on a couple of sites – doing two at the moment).

    When I try to add a user, it doesn’t work. It actually brings up the site front end home page within the same page (add user form – just under where it says “Add new user” and above “Users cannot currently register themselves, but you can manually create users here”).

    Anyone know what on earth is going on???? It’s happening on both site’s I’m creating.

    OK – this is a firefox issue I think – works fine in Safari

    There’s a related problem with 2.6.1 in both IE7 and Chrome — a user can be created, but, if they try to log into the dashboard, only a blank screen loads.
