Problem adding pages!!

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to add pages in WP using the create page feature. I’ve read several posts about this issue but changing the write permissions on the htaccess file still doesn’t help me. I referenced this post

and the recommendation seems to say make it writable but that isn’t working. All I get is 404 errors on the new page.

This is my current permalink structure..does it have to be something different for pages to work?

What do I add to the htaccess file to allow the page feature to work? Just changing permissions 666 or 766 and then trying to create pages doesn’t work either.
