I’ve installed and activated the nextgen-gallery plugin, and created from within WordPress a page called Gallery. The next step according to the readme file says:

Go to your post/page and enter the tag ‘[nggallery id=x]’

The problem is that I can see no option to enter a tag when viewing the page via edit.

I can see that editing or adding a “post” allows for including a tag – but I can’t see how that will help me. My posts are set up under a link for “News” which you can see at this url: https://www.kidspartybags.biz/blog/

Not sure how to make this work. Would be grateful for any assistance.

    Many thanks,

    Myles

  • Simply add the text [nggallery id=1] into your post, it’s a placeholder (=tag)

    Thanks Alex,

I didn’t realise it actually goes into the text box on the page. In posts there is an area specifically for tags and this was confusing me!
