    Hi,

the plugin has improved my page speeds significantly – however one one of my sites when I deleted the plugin (I wanted to test speeds with and without it and see how fast I could get it without OMGF) it created a problem with my my page speeds by adding 10-15 seconds to load time. In GTmetrix the problem could be seen as the fonts were still being called from the OMGF plugin folder url on my server, but obviously there was no font files in there as the plugin had been deleted. I tried deleting my WP Rocket cache, Autoptimize cache, and still can’t find where that code would be to tell the fonts to load from that url. Ending up reinstalling the plugin for now and page speeds are back to normal, but would like to find out what could be causing this so I can fix it.

Let me know if you need me to delete the plugin so I can demonstrate the problem.

    Thanks!

    Marc

You might be using a CDN (CloudFlare?) which was still trying to load the fonts.

When OMGF is gone, the fonts are gone. If something else is still trying to load them, that’s not an OMGF issue, but possibly some form of caching (CDN or server level) that you might not be aware off.

Thanks for the quick reply Daan. I’m not using a Cloudflare or any CDN, but must have been an issue with be the WP Rocket cache. I just cleared the WP Rocket cache and deleted OMGF again and tested on GTmetrix – some fonts were loading from google and others still being called from the OMGF plugin folder. Ran GTmetrix a few more times same result. So I cleared WP Rocket cache yet again and now all the fonts are loading from Google. Not sure how that it even possible but there it is…!

Thanks again for your help. Great plugin!
