• Hello there,

We are currently running the 1.9.2 version of the Next Gen gallery (old, I know), but whenever I try to update it to the latest version a few of the administrator pages of WordPress stop working (such as the Pages and the Menu page). Currently running WordPress 3.8 and the problem only rises after an automatic update to Next Gen 2.0.40

Are there any known issues with this, or is there a fix for this problem?

    Regards.

  • I am having the same issue.
If I use ftp and rename the directory to nextgen-galleryold, the site will load.
I have tried a new install to the site but when I activate the plug in, it never completes and the CPU usage on the server hits 100%.

    Sorry,
Just trying to offer additional information about what I had tried to do to resolve the problem.
I will create a new post.

@aandagt – Have you checked if there is a possible conflict with another plugin, or the current theme?

    Hello photocrati,

I’ve tried switching back to a default WordPress theme and the error still occured. Also after de-activating all other plug-ins.
