Hi,

I’m having an issue getting the plugin to the authorise with facebook.

I have done everything as instructed. However Facebook will not allow me to add the OAuth Redirect URL provided on your admin screen eg: https://www.wentworthtravel.com.au/wp-admin/admin.php?page=social-media-auto-publish-settings&auth=1 It strips this on saving of the app. This is the message I get if I just enter: https://www.wentworthtravel.com.au/

URL blocked: This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not white-listed in the app’s client OAuth settings. Make sure that the client and web OAuth logins are on and add all your app domains as valid OAuth redirect URIs.

You should add the redirect url at Facebook login settings.
If there is no white spaces then the url will be enclosed with a blue shaded box,and you will be able to save it. Please make sure that url do not contain any white-spaces at the starting or ending position of the url.

Now I have this error from facebook:

Invalid Scopes: publish_pages, user_photos, manage_pages. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-login/permissions

Any ideas?

As per the Facebook platform policy changes in last year(https://developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2018/04/24/new-facebook-platform-product-changes-policy-updates/), you should submit your app for review.
Please go through the procedure at https://help.xyzscripts.com/docs/social-media-auto-publish/faq/how-can-i-create-facebook-application/#appreview
You should change the status of app to development mode and submit for app review for the use of publish_pages and manage_pages permissions.
Or you can use our alternate solution for Facebook (which is a hosted service so require payment).
