    Hi there,

I was having problems displaying my instagrams so I decided to delete the plugin and reinstall. Now that I have I am having problems authorizing the plugin with instagram. I put in my username and password (which I have checked with instagram, are correct) and click save settings and I get a blank screen.

    I am using Instapress 1.0.3

    Thanks,

    Hazel

    Hi Hazel,

what happens if you refresh the page? Does the page look the same way as before, hence tell you to enter your username and password?

If I reload the page I get the same blank page as I did before when I submitted the username/password.

    Hi

I get a similar problem. I just installed the plugin but on the settings page there is a red error box at the top reading:

Instapress requires authentication by xAuth in order to display your friends, public or your own feeds.

I’ve checked username & pass, and also deleted/re-installed the plugin.

When I enter my details and hit save it just loads a blank page

    Thanks

    Hi Rob,

unfortunately this could be a problem caused by the default configuration of PHP 5.3.0+
I’m looking into this and we’ll try to fix that issue as soon as possible. Thanks for your help.

i too am having the same issue. My webiste shows this:

    Hi Meg,
unfortunately I couldn’t find a solution for your first problem yet…

According the xAuth-Message: Did you try to login with your Instagram user data?
Do you know which version of WordPress and PHP you are using?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

hi guys, i would like to know how you fix the issue? I have the same problem..=/

    Hi,
unfortunately I couldn’t find a solution for this problem yet… Could you check, if cURL is installed on your webserver? Thanks.

    Hi all,
the latest version (1.3.3) could probably solve your issue.

    Hi,
    I’m on
    instapress 1.3.4
    PHP 5.3.6
    WordPress 3.2.1

    Having this issue as well:

“Instapress requires authentication by xAuth in order to display your friends, public or your own feeds.”

The fix is that you need to have your version of PHP compiled with SSL support. To do this, you need to add: “–with-openssl” and recompile.

You also need to make sure the line:

    extension=php_openssl.dll

    Is in your php.ini file.
