Problem creating installer file

    I’ve been using Duplicator for a while now, and I must say it’s a fantastic tool.

    Today when I used it the Installer php file failed to download.

    When I click the blue button to the left of the Archive button, instead of downloading it takes me to a blank page. This is in Chrome. Returning to the Build Status bring an error message.

    I tried disabling all the plugins which I thought may have a bearing on the matter (cache, security, various admin functions…) to no avail.

    My solution was to download the Installer.php file via FTP.

    I’m not quite sure why your having the issue. The only workaround I have you already performed which is documented here:

    -> Find question: “Why can’t I download files / get a corrupted installer / see a 404.3 message?”

    If you want to submit a ticket I could take a look and see why your server isn’t allowing for the download…
