Problem creating recurring events

  • To create a recurring event, the current date has to be the date of the first event.

    That is, if today is 2/1/2015, but I want to create a monthly event that begins on Saturday 2/7/2015 and it repeats every 1st Saturday, when I click “Save” the recurrent event is not created and everything I entered is lost.

    The only way I have ever been able to create a recurring event is to wait until the day of the 1st occurrence and then set things up. In otherwords, to set up a recurring event to begin on 2/7/2015 and repeat every 1st Saturday of the month (or whatever), then I have to wait until 2/7/2015 to set up the recurrent event or else it won’t take.

    This is not a review, but a problem report (which in imho is not correct since I can create future recurring events just fine, see the calendar here (look for an event every 1st Saturday named “test future recurring event”):

    You might be mixing the event-day info with the recurrence day-info.

    Also, since this is not a review, may I kindly ask you to either change your review or remove it? The forum is the correct place for this.

    Then just post a new evaluation comment and change the “points” to your liking, and maybe post a bug report if it is still happening.
