problem deleting posts

my permissions are set to allow members of a role to delete posts, but they get unauthorized action screen, then if I try a second time, I get error moving to trash screen. I definitely have the permissions correct, and Ive seen a few other support posts about this topic but none are resolved. If you could help me out that would be awesome.
