    Hi,
    I also have trouble with IE 8. It works fine in ie11, FF and chrome (I haven’t tried any others). The issue is the images in my slider show up as 1×1 pixel images. The slider is on the home page of https://www.lsbcc.org. Any ideas?

    Thanks for any help,
    Andy

    Hello @andykmiller63

    Thanks for writing to us.
    We have checked your site on IE8. Slider Images appearing properly. When we have checked on Browser stack issue occurred. We would suggest you please check on actual IE8 browser.

    If still problem persist then please put below CSS into Smooth Slider => Settings => Basic Settings => Miscellaneous => Custom Styles.

    .smooth_slider .smooth_slider_thumbnail{width: 100% !important; height: 300px !important;}

    Let me know if it helps.
    Thank you,

    Best Regards,
    Sagar.

    Hi sagar.k,

    Thanks so much for your prompt reply. Your solution solved my problem with a slight tweak: {width: auto !important; height: 300px !important;}
    When I tried width: 100%, it stretched the images horizontally on all browsers.

    By the way, I am using a real IE 8 browser on Windows 7 Enterprise:
    IE version 8.0.7601.17514

    Thanks again,
    Andy
