Hello, I’ve like 500 posts here (with other user acount) and I wanna move my blog to a personal hosting. XML generated by WordPress.com weight is 1,58mb and www.ads-software.com leaves you up to 2mb, so that is fine. Problem is, when I import the XML file, it just imports up to a date, it imports up to July.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Its a Linux Server and folder uploads is chmodded 777.

    Greetings.

  • Did you check the xml file to see if the post are actually in there? If so, try the following (personal experience), delete the post out of the xml file that is causing the imports to stop. Which one is that? The post right after the last one that is imported. Try that and recreate that post manually if need be.
