Problem Generating URL Friendly Image Slugs

  • I’m having problems with the option (under “Gallery->Options”) to “Create new URL friendly image slugs.” The script seems to time out (stops updating the number of images) after about 100 images (the highest I got it to go was 750 out of 2,401) images. Most times I restart it and it just stops again after 50-200 images.

    Right now I’m running NextGen Gallery 1.8 and have been unable to get this function to work since it was introduced (maybe back in 1.7?).

    Any ideas?

  • Do you get any script error, while updating ? This update perfom a lot of DB queries, maybe the database get in trouble.

    No, I didn’t get any errors while updating.

    NextGen works fine in all other aspects, I just can’t get this to work.
