Problem IE9 Twenty ten

Do your webpages contain valid markup?

I got this with the validator:

– Unable to Determine Parse Mode!

– No DOCTYPE found, and unknown root element. Aborting validation.

– No Character encoding declared at document level

But I dont understand what I should do about it :/

That is not the original Twenty Ten theme. You shouldn’t edit the Twenty Ten theme. Instead create a child theme for your changes.

I think that if you went back to the original Twenty Ten theme, you’d find that it works well in IE9. Then, via a child theme, you could add your changes gradually – testing in IE after each customisation. That way, you’d learn where the issues are and, hopefully, have some idea of how to change your approach.
