Problem importing blog into new site

  • Hello,

    I have exported my old blog (via WordPress Importer) but when I try to import the XML file into my new blog, it says the file is empty. I opened it and made sure it’s not empty. Is there some step I’m missing or perhaps another way to accomplish this?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    Sorry not sure what you mean exactly. You mean version of WordPress? The old one is 3.9

    You mean you’re trying to import a WordPress blog into a new one? (I thought you were on Blogger or something similar.)

    If you still have access to the old blog, can you try re-exporting it?

    I tried re-exporting today with no luck. It’s still saying it’s empty…
