Problem importing blogs from Blogger

  • I have just created a WordPress blog and would like to import my old blogs from Blogger. However, the WordPress page that instructs me to use my Blogger password and username to sign in to Blogger rejects them. But I can use the same username and password with Blogger and sign in. Blogger uses your email address as your username. What is WordPress looking for as a Blogger username?

  • I also attempted to import from blogger. The WP page said “success” but there is no entry even found. I heard that it is Blogger who prevent people exporting. Anyone ever success importing from blogger recently?

    Joe: you can try login blogger first. WP will skip asking your blogger’s pass and go straight to the authentication page. Do give a reply here if you success importing.
