problem Importing custom fields for CPT

    Hello,

    I am using the free version as I am testing some solutions to import export WP data.

    I have a site from which I exported the CPT and it’s data with ease in JSON and CSV.

    When I try to import back into a newer version of the site, it create the CPT witout any issues, but does not match the custom fields. After several atempts trying to match the new CPT custom fields from the old, still the same thing.

    I am following the instruction from the video from this page : https://plugins.vjinfotech.com/wordpress-import-export/documentation/importing-custom-fields/.
    It does not say what should be the name or the slug of the field to import into. I tried both.

    Is this a limitation of the free version?

    As an exemple
    year = 2022 -> publication_year or Publication year
    number = 1 -> publication_number or Publication number

    There are no limitations for importing custom fields.

    custom field name is based on requirement of theme or plugin. generally you can try like publication_year

    We are already working on auto mapping names and other fields.
