problem in get_header() function !!!

  • Hi

    I uploaded a theme (papyrus_1-1) into my wordpress site
    and when activate it ,appeared an error

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /data/members/free/tripod/uk/s/t/e/steps2sky/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/papyrus_1-1/index.php on line 1

    please i need to your help

  • Check that the theme folder contains a header.php template file.

    that shouldnt cause that problem.

    do you have a wp-includes/general-template.php file on the server, suma?

    Darn – didn’t read the error message properly.

    Might it be worth re-loading the entire wp-includes directory? If 1 file is potentially damaged/awol, it increases the likelihood of other files being similarly affected.

    and also I have general-template.php file on wp-includes folder

    So now what I can do ?

    re-loading the entire wp-includes directory? or what
