Problem in IE8

  • I have updated this theme to 5 stars. It appears IE8 is dead anyway and many sites no longer support it.

    Works good if you have the latest browser, but I installed Windows XP with IE8 for testing and it looks like crap in ie8. The black left column of Twentyfourteen is still here!

    Any idea why IE8 cannot display this child theme properly like other browsers?

    I want my site to work with all browsers. Who knows how many drop in using XP with IE8 :-\

    Have not tested IE 9 or others, but current Firefox and Chrome it looks good. Just IE8 bad.

    The theme problem is no big deal. Besides, I already switched to Drupal :-\

    As for IE8 compatablility, I have learned that IE8 is almost totally dead and many major internet sites no longer support the old browser.

    You’re right. Microsoft already stopped support for XP. If anyone uses Internet explorer it should at least be IE9.

    I don’t even think wordpress support it anymore. I know even sites like cnn do not work in ie8.
