problem in links

  • hi, i have a site installed on my domain (main domain) and a sub domain for wordpress and has a photome theme, i try to link the about us page from the sub domain were the photome themes is installed to my main domain which is not a wordpress base, and the url is like photograpy.com/blog/?page_id=91 (link for about us). the problem with this is when i click that link from my home page on my main domain it leads me to a plain white page with the about us content but the photome themes doesn’t appear… the theme creator says that the theme is “fully AJAX driven so it needs to load the homepage first. That’s the reason permalink for about us page not working” and he suggest that i must make my home page from the sub domain as my default homepage, i need to just link it to my main domain.. can can any body please tell me what to do.

    you enabled the network, yes?

    Try the default twenty Ten theme. Does that work?

    yes it does, the permalink is working on the the twenty ten theme. but i need to use photome theme on my sub domain. here is the main domain standing as my home page https://www.brooklynsphotography.com/ this is not a wordpress base just an html page … And here is the sub domain that run in wordpress with the photome templates https://www.brooklynsphotography.com/blog . if you are on my home page try to click on the gallery or about us, you will see that the gallery polaroid is working. but if you click the about us polaroid it gave’s us the about us content but doesn’t have a template, just a plain white page.. unlike on the about us page on the sub domain.. the template is an ajax base

    That’s not a subdomain, it’s a subfolder.

    Are you using the multisite feature of WordPress? That’s what this section of the forum is for.
