problem in post.php, can’t get_post()

  • I have no problem writing posts, they go up onto the blog fine. However, when I try to go back in to edit the post from the dashboard I get this error:

    PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_post() in D:\users\AdlerD\Inetpub\wwwroot\tradeshowexpert\wp-admin\post.php on line 224

    I have no idea what to do or why this happening. I thought maybe it was looking in the wrong folder, but I don’t even know where to change that information. I have searched the forums and couldn’t find anything on this. Maybe i’m looking in the wrong place, but can anyone help?
