Problem loading the pages in Jax lite

    Hello! I have had my website a couple of years working on Jax lite. Now suddenly I’m facing a problem loading the pages of my website. The front page loads normally, but if I try to select a page from the menu, it starts loading and either takes several minutes or doesn’t load at all. Sometimes the second page loads normally, but the third has this problem. Sometimes refteshing the page a few times helps, sometimes not. I tried minimizing pictures, switching off the plugins, but the only thing that seems to solve everything immediately is to change the theme. With twenty-twentyone the site works without problems and is really fast. However I like the design of Jax lite, and would like to keep it. Did anyone else face this problem? What could I do to solve it?

    Hello

    Could you please try to disable the Infinite scroll feature?

    Please go to appearance > customize > General > Settings > Infinite scroll > No

    Please let me know

    Hey, Alex!
    It seems it’s fixed! The infinite scroll was actually off, but changing the “preloading system” to “no” helped. Thank you so much! Without your help I surely wouldn’t have succeeded.
