• I recently bought an SSL certificate however although the pages are now as secure https they are blank 404 not found.
    I have installed the Easy HTTPS (SSL) Redirection and checked the Force secure checkout

    Any ideas whats wrong, please

    Temporarily deactivate the plugin. Does that solve the 404 problem?

    If so, is this the plugin you used? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/https-redirection/ – you could post your question there for support.

    Or you could try a different forcing https plugin. I like the Really Simple SSL plugin. Some hosts (Siteground for instance) provide their own plugin for forcing SSL.

    If you’re using a caching plugin, try deleting the cache and trying again.

    Is the home page visible but no others? Then update your permalinks.

    Deactivated the Easy SSL plug in and installed the Really Simple (which I should have installed in the first place) and bang yes it’s all working fine now

    Many many thanks, I was beginning to wonder if it would ever work !!!

    Be careful folk if you think its a piece of cake installing https it is not
