I’m trying to re-arrange my custom form fields, but when I put the mouse cursor over the 6 dots and move it,it doesn’t move. Instead, surrounding text get selected! I tried many times with no luck. I also tried both Chrome and IE, same problem.
I have about 70 fields,so its not easy to move the with arrows. I tried to tick and untick the ajax option in settings, put nothing changed.

    Hi @sallam,

Sorry that you ran into issues here!

Sounds like you might have a conflict going on. Have you tried a conflict test yet?

Here is an article about how to test for theme and plugin conflicts with Business Directory, which may help pinpoint the issue: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-check-for-plugin-and-theme-conflicts-with-bd/

Once you have everything deactivated and on a default theme, can you do it then? If so, definitely a conflict! You’ll have to reactivate plugins one at a time to see which one is the culprit.

Try that and report back on what you find.

I’ve deactivated all plugins. No luck
I’ve switched to twenty seventeen, eleven and ten themes. Same issue. When I try to move a field by grabbing it from the 6 dots, it doesn’t, and instead, nearby text get selected.

?And another question please: is there an option to paginate the form, I mean split it into 5 or 10 fields each page? because for my users 70 fields would be too much in one go I guess..

    Hi @sallam,

Contact us here and let’s see if we can help with the form field moving issue: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/contact/

As for pagination, BD doesn’t currently support that today in the Submit form (in fact, we’re going the opposite direction in our next release–making it on ONE page due to requests for that). 70 fields is a lot–and definitely not the “typical” case for a directory. That’s something we can consider for future development, but not something the plugin allows for today.??????
