Problem occured after update to 4.1.2

The spinning arrow is a common symptom of a JavaScript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using – see Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers JavaScript Conflicts.??

I NEED HELP WITH THIS AS WELL. OUR CONTACT FORMS ARE NO LONGER WORKING. CAN ANYONE HELP US TO FIX THE ISSUE?

I had the exact same issue. I received the email but the icon just continued to spin around.

I found a fix however and it was indeed related a plugin.

In my case it was the Google Sitemap plugin by BestWebSoft, specifically V2.9.7. Upon disabling it, the forms work fine. I have an exact same website running the same plugin but the previous version and the contact forms work fine, so I wont be updating the plugin on that site. ??
